DRINKING WATER STATE REVOLVING LOAN FUND

    The Drinking Water State Revolving Fund (DWSRF) loan program is intended to improve drinking water systems and protect public health, and is designed for both publicly and privately owned systems.  The program was established in 1996, when Congress reauthorized the Safe Drinking Water Act (SDWA).  In Washington State, the program is jointly managed by the Department of Health and the Public Works Board.  The DWSRF loan fund is comprised of both federal and stats funds.  Application for loans are accepted on an annual basis.

Interest Rates:

Interest Rates range is 1.5% - 0.5% (extremely disadvantaged communities may be eligible for 0%)

Application Cycle:

Applications are accepted annually, in the early spring..
