During May 2016, the Public Works Board staff, along with other state and federal agency partners, provided two Regional Training Events to local governments. The first was on May 3-4, in Colville, WA, the second was on May 24-25, in Ritzville, WA. This coordinated infrastructure financing training offered a project development track, professional Continuing Education (CEU) and Certificate of Municipal Leadership (CML) credits, and an opportunity to participate in Tech Teams.
For more information on upcoming Regional Trainings, please contact Carrie Calleja, Programs Specialist.
The Public Works Board staff will be facilitating two more Regional Trainings in 2017! The first will be in Mt. Vernon at WorkSource Skagit, on Tuesday, February 7th. The second will be in Aberdeen at the Rotary Log Pavilion, on Thursday, February 9th. Same training, two different locations. These events will provide a training track geared to assist with system management. Professional credits are also offered for attending the all-day training. Please contact Carrie Calleja at 360-725-3015, or firstname.lastname@example.org, with questions.
Due to feedback we received from our previous trainings last fall, we will NOT be offering Tech Teams at these trainings, in order for participants to maximize their training time.
We will offer Tech Teams individually to jurisdictions. We can come out to your site, or we can hold these via conference call or Skype. Please contact Carrie Calleja, for more information, at (360) 725-3015, or email@example.com.
